Abstract
We will present the Hebrew language Wikipedia by exploring its many special characteristics.

We will review how special projects such as writing contests and face-to-face educational activities help form a very involved community of writers. We will discuss the conflict management problems that the project faces, how the Arab-Israeli conflict is echoed in the project, the goals and aims of the Wikimedia Israel local chapter and other topics that make the Hebrew Wikipedia notable.
