Visa on Arrival
I am TzuChiang which is a member of Wikimania 2007 administration office. I'm also working for the Institute of Information Science, Academia Sinica, a governmental institute in Taiwan. We understand that some participants have came across difficulties when appling for Visa to Taiwan. To solve the issues, we at the Academia Sinica, are under negotiating with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) to grand Wikimania 2007 as a special case, so a special "Visa on Arrival" can be implemented to resolve this. We've send the application letter to MOFA for their final approval.
If it is approved, most of the participants that have visa issues may be legitimate to have one by following the instructions. July 10 is the final deadline, and please read the instruction here.

- CTOYAC accommodation booking for general attendees has been closed. If you missed the timing to book, please contact with CTS-Travel.
- If you are a scholarship awardee or a speaker who forgot to book accommodation and does need accommodation, please send a message to wikimania-registration@wikimedia.org with your name and how many nights you wish to stay at CTOYAC. Important: please indicate if you are a speaker or scholarship awardee in this message.
- Each one who will attend the conference, PLEASE REGISTER NOW. This will help the organizing office provide the best service for all participates during the conference.
- Registration with accommodation PAYMENT SHOULD BE MADE WITHIN 48 HOURS . Otherwise, registration and accommodations will be canceled by system automatically. Those who pay by remittance please mail your payment information to wikimania-registration@wikimedia.org .
