Proud volunteer staff member for Wikimania 2006. Normally when I attend an event, I can only tell everybody how cool what I saw was. Since this event has mp3 archives of each panel and conference, and videos of various quality posted for many, if you're curious why I enjoyed it so much, you can find yourself by watching the Lawrence Lessig speech [1] and the Brewster Kahle speech [2]. That will get you into what I got. Please don't miss the chance to catch their passion and vision.
I should at first report that circumstances make it virtually impossible for me to enjoy Wikimania 2007 conference effort first hand; I'll instead concentrate on helping marshal and focus volunteer effort from a distance. I very much hope we can manage even more complete video/audio coverage of this year's event so that volunteers who are compelled to visit remotely get the maximum conference experience.
