Sylvain is a both free software enthusiast and a music addict. He was born in a family of musicians and plays several instruments. He founded jamendo in May 2004 and since then he has managed to grow the platform to 4000 albums, 7 official languages and 10 employees. He is currently CTO for jamendo.

| Free music is growing exponentially and we need to figure out how to distribute it, promote it, and maybe allow some artists to make a living off it. I will present how we try to do that at www.jamendo.com and debate these ideas with the audience" |
