| Abstract |
| WikiPakistan is intended to be the answer for questions like "Where do I find resources about AIDS in Pakistan?" Information that is "not of encyclopedic interest" but is important in documenting and understanding a real world community both for members and outsiders. Successes include monitoring and supporting relief efforts in the aftermath of the South Asian Earthquake; creating the best list of resources about AIDS in that country; and being the "first home" of a global alumni community. The aim here is to present these and other experiences and generate discussion about replicating, leveraging and building upon them. |
