Wikimania 2007 Taipei :: a Globe in Accord

Sustainability, energy conversion...

Appropedia is the obvious wiki to look at on these topics (and on sustainable development, international development, appropriate technology). And of course for the how tos mentioned in the poster, wikiHow is doing a great job. These two wikis have a certain amount of overlap, which hopefully can be handled in an increasingly collaboratively and synergistic way. As mentioned, Wikipedia has a lot of info on these topics, so at Appropedia we've got a policy of directing encyclopedic content to Wikipedia, and having other content types (project writeups, research, collaborations etc) at Appropedia; wikiHow of course also deals with content not suitable for Wikipedia.
